Oh if you like lilacs they have so many differnt colors and sizes there. Definately if you are stressed during the month of May walking through the park will calm you right down.

Thanks for the link. It sounds beautiful--- worth a trip possibly including another spring garden show or two in the area. I'm a 4-5 hour drive north of there in Appleton WI

They have over 1000 lilac bushes. It is beautifully planted with tulips and daffodils in the spring. In May, during the Lilac festival (all month) they do charge to get in, but it is worth it. Here is a link to learn more:

Robin, believe it or not...I'm actually allergic to the Lilacs. I have to be majorly drugged up to be near Lilacia Park during bloom. I have 1 token Lilac bush (a white one that they advertised as yellow) in my yard on the far side of the garage. My daughter was a Lilac Princess back in 2002. It's all fuzzy because of all the meds I was on :) Lilacs everywhere!

Kimberly I'm not to far from you, down by Irving Pk Rd. I love your town though home of the Lilacs and the lilac park.

Linda that sounds perfect. I just wish we could afford it. Lots of medical issues with my youngest put us in a rut.

Kimberly, I'm in a western suburb of chicago. They get nasty if your grass is over a certain height. Yes, I've had the grass police here a couple times because neighbors complained.
