Hello Everyone! My name is Karleen and Iwork with Urban Farming, we're a non-profit org that converts unused spaces into organic veggie gardens. We are establishing 2 new gardens in San Francisco. - I'm in Berkeley. Just in the process of putting in the winter garden...pulled up most of the tomatoes yesterday, but some are still producing. I've only been an active gardener for a couple of years...I have a great big yard which was a total jungle when I moved in, but it's looking better now. I'm still trying to figure out what will grow when, etc. I get better weather than you do probably, but still pretty similar. Happy gardening!

- Hello! So far I've only had one response to my invitations to join this group! Oh well, things sometimes take time! I must be patient! Do come and join and get some conversation going about anything you like! It's cold and grey here today! I know there is sunshine down the road somewhere, but I have work and gardening to do here! It's our natural air conditioning at work! None of my seeds have germinated yet, but then I only planted them five days ago and can only expect to see lettuce this early! I wonder how everyone is managing with watering in the other parts of our wonderful bay area!
