Hi Hosta lovers. For those in the western NY and western PA area the following link will take you to Ran Lydell's website for Eagle Bay Nursery and Gardens. A great source for info and plants. Our Hosta Society meets there annually for our summer picnic. Hope you get to enjoy it too. Ran is also a hybridizer and collector. http://www.eaglebaygardens.com/

Hey Kristin, Thanks a lot for the Web address for hostadirect.com. I definitely will be checking it out! Good timing, too, as just last month we had our entire back yard dug up and turned into beds and paths. Lots of empty places to fill with plants - and hostas are high on my list of favorites.

Hey Elizabeth...if you still want the site I found, its hostadirect.com
I spent over an hour going through the entire list, writing down my favs and which were resistant to what and their size and.......dang, do you think I can find the list now?
Think I will divide up some of my hostas this weekend. Lots of standard clumps I think will end up in compost. I want more more more unusual ones now.
